Why Do Companies Use Our Services?
After speaking with different clients, HR managers, independent consultants, and employees, the following points have emerged as being important to you and are, as a result, important to us.

  1. We don’t promise what cannot be delivered. It is not likely that our coaching services of 40-60 hours will turn all employees into stars. We want to educate all the stakeholders -- the general managers, the frontline managers, the human resources department, and the prospective learners themselves about the length of time needed to achieve growth and learning in a coaching environment.
  2. We do offer short courses, or "learning opportunities" with a few specific, attainable goals. Discrete, highly targeted courses such as stress and change management or our teamwork skills course give your employees the skills to use in any job or workplace.
  3. We seek ways to maximize the resources and personnel already at the workplace. For example, our programs can be scheduled for a one hour class or a one hour study time match containing learning centers for individual and computer-assisted instruction. (Please note: we are mobile and do bring our portable computers with us when we need to!) We can team with job skills trainers to offer corporate specific designed programs. As well, the program can require home study as a component to match workplace course hours. This is especially important when offering instruction to employees who may not yet have the level necessary to access more specialized courses that we offer or your company offers.
  4. In addition to providing training and coaching on general business skills, we offer cross-cultural courses and general training courses to both native and nonnative English speakers at the workplace. This may help dissipate feelings that the language minority workers are getting special treatment and can directly address the need for better communication at the workplace. We know how to train and facilitate people of different levels in one group.
  5. We develop independently, or we co-develop with you, realistic ways of documenting how instruction has improved performance at the workplace. Promotions due to improved skills are very impressive; however, in many companies, recruiting and promotions are under intense scrutiny due to the enormous pressure of global economics as well as the shortage of skilled labour in Vancouver and Western Canada. We can aid you in your recruiting and HR processes by using standardized tests for any skill, as well as stakeholder surveys through InsyncSurveys and other diagnostic tools. Companies use our tools in hiring as well as using corporate based learning to train its employees.
  6. We understand the need for general managers to actively support the program. They authorize the training and coaching and their authority is necessary to ensure that their frontline managers (the participants' direct supervisors) strongly support what we do. The supervisors will arrange schedules so that people can attend sessions, provide opportunities on the job for them to use what they are learning, and encourage them to attend our sessions regularly. We work with you to do this.
  7. We do not insist on training and coaching for the workplace only. Although the workplace is the core of and the backdrop for us, what we do does not need to be connected exclusively to workplace skills. We know that learning means transfer of skills to other life situations and learners have always sought this link, and that company management have asked for life skills, general communication skills as well as workplace skills. We do this type of training as well, and have different training packages and programs depending on the need of our clients.

Conclusion

Training and coaching are real needs at the workplace, and we understand what challenges need to be addressed from both a coaching and a business perspective. Our goal is to work on addressing these challenges, and to create the best working environment for you. For instance, this can include working with the Human Resources Manager Vancouver, acting as a Vancouver Successful Presentation Coach, or liaising with Vancouver Recruiting Firms.
